Strike Signs are at the heart of the strike.  

 

In a live demonstration, Strike Signs transform a striker from being a body in a crowd to a message for the world.

 

Your targets will see the signs, your fellow strikers will see the signs, and those passing by will see the signs. Most importantly, those who take photos and videos of your demonstration will broadcast your messages to the world. The signs become billboards for millions of people.

 

The American Liberation Movement has created a set of suggested sign slogans you are encouraged to use and modify, in addition to inventing your own.

 

The goals of your signs are the following: 

• Influence those who see your signs to sign the New Declaration of Independence. Especially your target. 

• Increase the shared understanding that the two-party system is an interconnected, corrupt system that is creating a never-ending wake of carnage and is completely unfit to lead America. 

• Invite others to join your strike locally, or to join or start strikes in other areas against new targets. 

• Polarize support away from both parties. 

 

Strike Signs can be made from anything, including simply cardboard and a black marker. 

 

Your goal as a strike organizer is to have enough demonstrators join your strikes to have signs representing each of the Priority signs suggested below. Every demonstrator should have a sign. Make and bring extra signs and sign materials so that people can join the demonstration spontaneously and immediately share a message with the world. 

 

Strike Signs have changed the world by harnessing the power of the people to pressure rulers to meet demands. We will do exactly that, again.
